Yezdi

Yezdi is a legendary motorcycle brand that has made a significant mark in the Indian automotive landscape. Originally established in the 1960s, the brand is a product of the collaboration between the Czech company Jawa and Indian entrepreneurs. The name "Yezdi" was adopted to resonate with Indian consumers, and the motorcycles quickly became synonymous with ruggedness and reliability. Manufactured by Ideal Jawa Ltd in Mysuru, Karnataka, Yezdi bikes gained immense popularity for their strong performance and distinctive design. 

The iconic Yezdi Roadking, produced from 1978 to 1996, remains one of the most celebrated models. It featured a powerful 250cc two-stroke engine that delivered impressive performance, capable of reaching speeds up to 120 km/h. The Roadking was not only known for its speed but also for its unique features, such as dual exhausts and a semi-automatic clutch. This motorcycle was a powerful competitor against other popular models of its time, particularly the Royal Enfield Bullet. 

In recent years, there has been a surge of interest in Yezdi's new bikes. Thanks to Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra Group, Yezdi has been reintroduced to the market with modern iterations of its classic models. This revival aims to blend the brand's rich heritage with contemporary technology and design elements suitable for today's riders.
