Bajaj - Freedom 125

The Bajaj Freedom 125 is an innovative commuter motorcycle designed to cater to India's growing demand for versatile and economical two-wheelers. Launched as a unique offering in the market, it features a dual-fuel system that allows riders to switch between CNG and petrol, making it a practical choice for daily commuting. The starting price of the Freedom 125 is approximately ₹89,997 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and it is available in three variants.

This motorcycle is particularly well-suited for urban environments. Its design and engineering are tailored to meet the diverse needs of Indian riders, offering a blend of efficiency and comfort that makes it ideal for navigating through city traffic while also providing the capability for longer rides.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 is powered by a 124.58 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 9.5 PS at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.7 Nm at 5000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, allowing for smooth gear shifts and responsive acceleration. The motorcycle has a fuel tank capacity of 2 kg for CNG and 2 litres for petrol, supporting a claimed mileage of around 65 kmpl when using petrol.
