Ather - Rizta

The Ather Rizta is an innovative electric scooter from Ather Energy, designed to enhance urban mobility by providing efficient commuting solutions tailored for city dwellers. Launched in late 2024, the Rizta is positioned as a family-oriented model, catering to similar demographics as other offerings in Ather's lineup. As of January 2025, the pricing for the Ather Rizta ranges from approximately ₹1.12 lakh to ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), depending on the variant and features selected.

The Ather Rizta is powered by a 4.3 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), allowing it to achieve a top speed of 80 km/h. It features a lithium-ion battery with two options: a 2.9 kWh variant offering a range of about 123 km on a full charge and a more powerful 3.7 kWh variant that can provide up to 160 km.

Charging times vary, with the smaller battery requiring approximately 8.3 hours for a full charge, while the larger battery takes around 6.1 hours. The scooter is equipped with drum brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable stopping power, and has a kerb weight of approximately 119 kg, which enhances its agility in urban traffic.
