The Ather 450S is a modern electric scooter from Ather Energy, aimed at meeting the increasing demand for sustainable urban mobility in India. Launched in late 2023, the Ather 450S serves as a more accessible alternative to its flagship model, the Ather 450X. It is available in two variants: the standard model and the Pro Pack, with prices ranging from approximately ₹1.29 lakh to ₹1.43 lakh as of January 2025.

The Ather 450S is powered by a 5.4 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), allowing it to achieve a top speed of 90 km/h. It features a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2.9 kWh, offering a range of approximately 122 km on a full charge.

Charging the battery takes about 7.45 hours, making it practical for overnight charging at home. In terms of safety and handling, the Ather 450S comes equipped with disc brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. The scooter has a kerb weight of around 108 kg, which enhances its agility in urban traffic. Additionally, it features tubeless tyres that improve ride quality and safety.
