The BMW S 1000 R is a high-performance naked sportbike that combines exhilarating power with agile handling, making it an ideal choice for riders who crave excitement on city streets and winding roads. The BMW S 1000 R features a water-cooled, four-stroke inline-four engine with a maximum power output of 165 PS at 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 114 Nm at 9,250 rpm. This powerful engine allows the motorcycle to achieve top speeds exceeding 200 km/h while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about three seconds. The bike has a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch for smooth gear transitions under aggressive riding conditions.

With a kerb weight of approximately 199 kg (or 194 kg with the M package), the S 1000 R offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio for outstanding performance on track or road.
