Yamaha - FZ-X

The Yamaha FZ-X is an innovative motorcycle that combines retro styling with modern technology. It is aimed at urban riders who appreciate aesthetics as much as performance. Launched in India with a starting price of approximately ₹1,37,899 (ex-showroom), this model stands out with its unique design elements while offering practical features that cater to daily commuting needs.

The FZ-X is powered by a 149cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates approximately 12.4 PS at 7,250 rpm and delivers a peak torque of about 13.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth power delivery suitable for city riding conditions. A kerb weight of around 139 kg strikes an excellent balance between agility and stability. Disc brakes handle braking duties at both ends—282 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear—equipped with single-channel ABS for enhanced safety during sudden stops. The motorcycle has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres and offers an average mileage of approximately 55.11 kmpl, making it economical for daily use.
