YObykes - Drift DX

The YObykes Drift DX is an electric scooter designed primarily for urban commuting, reflecting the growing trend towards sustainable transportation in India. Launched to cater to the increasing demand for eco-friendly vehicles, the Drift DX is available in two variants: the standard model and the upgraded "+" version. The starting price for the Drift DX is approximately ₹65,000, while the "+" variant is priced around ₹70,000. This pricing positions it as an affordable option for many consumers looking to transition to electric mobility.

The YObykes Drift DX is equipped with a 250 W brushless DC motor, providing adequate power for city riding. It features two battery options: a 1.2 kWh lead-acid battery and a 1.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. The lead-acid variant takes about 7-8 hours to fully charge, while the lithium-ion option requires only 3-4 hours. The scooter offers a range of up to 85 km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commutes within urban areas.

In terms of braking, the Drift DX comes with a 180 mm disc brake at the front and a 110 mm drum brake at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. The kerb weight of the scooter is approximately 95 kg, contributing to its stability on the road. The scooter has a ground clearance of 170 mm, making it adept at handling the uneven surfaces often found on Indian roads.

The Drift DX also includes several modern features such as a digital instrument console, anti-theft alarm, LED tail lights, and tubeless tyres mounted on 10-inch alloy wheels. These features enhance both convenience and safety for riders.
