The BMW R 18 Transcontinental features an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, twin-cylinder boxer engine that produces a maximum power output of 91 PS at 4,750 rpm and peak torque of 158 Nm at 3,000 rpm. This configuration allows the motorcycle to achieve a top speed of approximately 180 km/h, providing a smooth and powerful ride.
